Family Kindness

January 21st, 2010

familyEvery day brings a new level of excitement to The Kindness Bus Tour. So many people email and call to tell of how One Million Acts of Kindness has given them a fresh perspective on their lives. Originally, a message I intended for kids to embrace has now been embraced by people from all walks of life. The idea of an individual having a goal of performing one million acts of kindness in their life has struck a chord with thousands of people in a few short months of my travels. This movement is getting contagious. Kindness is contagious!! The most recent exciting news I have received was by a mother of a family. Excited at having a new goal for herself, something to better herself, she started on her journey of performing one million acts of kindness….then it happened….out of nowhere….it was time for a family meeting!! Moms know what is right for their families. This mom realized after a few days on the way to her goal. Out of the love in her heart for her family and knowing, how many persons she will have a positive influence on during her lifetime of kindness, she has now convinced everyone in her family to start on their own goals of one million acts of kindness. For me, few things are more exciting.

We are working on a goal of 100 schools participating in One Million Acts of Kindness Week
