Good Morning, New Zealand

October 4th, 2010

10-4-10 (2)This evening, in New York City, I had the pleasure of meeting, for the 2nd time, Bianca from New Zealand. She was one of over 900 people on the University of Delaware campus I met in one day’s time almost 2 weeks ago. So here is this young woman who is half-way around the world and she runs into The Kindness Bus Tour, 2 separate times, 10 days apart and in 2 different areas of the United States. Needless to say, she is now the One Million Acts Of Kindness ambassador in New Zealand.  Ain’t it grand?
An early, cool, wet Autumn has settled over New York City for most of the past 10 days, taking me inside once again. Today the Natural History Museum provided the necessary shelter from the elements. My new-found California Kindness Ambassador, Sara, accompanied me and was a natural at interacting with museum visitors, promoting One Million Acts Of Kindness as if she has been doing it all her life, I’m convinced she has. Sara talked with nearly every family who passed our way.
A big thanks goes out to Mike from the parking garage and guest services at the museum. Both of these men went out of their way to lend The Kindness Bus Tour a helping hand. The friendliness of this town is awesome.

Bob and Bogart are an amazing modern day inspiration. I look forward to furthering the cause. Check back soon for specific ways you too can be a “Kindness Ambassador.” It all starts with smiling more and directly at everyone without expectation. Please post comments to help inspire others. Peace, Joy and Gratefulness to you. : )
