Move That Boat!

February 24th, 2011

2-24-11Heading further south in Florida, a great place to spend a day is Delray Beach, especially when it is my birthday weekend and also when it is the 2 year anniversary when Bogart and I joined forces at his age of 1 1/2. After this sunrise, which I waited for for a half hour, only to be obscured by this container ship, I met Christina and her dog, Holly. Christina has been following the travels of The Kindness Bus Tour on the internet ever since we have visited Michigan State, her alma mater.
After a long week of wrapping up One Million Acts Of Kindness Week, Bogart and I are going to relax this weekend, especially since it is the (you fill in the number) anniversary of my 39th birthhday.

Welcome to Delray! It was such a treat meeting you about 1.5hrs ago (me, my husband, and our 22month old who was running around while we talked).

I was really moved by your mission to get us all focused on kindness; such a basic and fundamental virtue that, if made a daily priority in thought & deed, can truly change the world. Thank you for being such a powerful & exemplary reminder of kindness and of our individual ability to make a difference in our own unique way. You have lucky kids.

    Enjoy your birthday weekend!

Wishing you well in your future travels & endeavors. I shared your website (& all the pics of your bus) with my Facebook friends.
