The Las Vegas Strip

March 16th, 2012

3-16-12The Kindness Bicycle Ride for Heroes has a few more days left in Vegas until we head south into Arizona. During my two weeks here, I have ridden the length of the strip a couple of times but never at night nor a weekend. This Saint Patrick’s eve the streets and sidewalk were gridlock. I felt it best, for safety sake to remain stationary. Doing so, I met some of the nicest people. Dennis and Ann from Columbus, Ohio, who posed with The Kindness Bicycle are here for the weekend and are very involved in helping Wounded Warriors. Dennis has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars by arranging corporate sponsors to commit to support his benefits which center around skeet shooting. You could tell the passion in both Dennis and Ann’s voices as they talked about the Wounded Warrior benefitting because of the help of others.
In four days, on the first day of Spring, it is time to tell as many people as possible about One Million Acts Of Kindness, in an event called “Spring Kindness.” Friend, Spring Hope is getting many people involved in this idea of hers. Thank you, Spring!
