Malee and Chelsea from Thailand came halfway around the world to see their “favorite thing in London thus far.” The Kindness Bicycle is certainly having a global impact.
Perhaps all world leaders should be forwarded the importance of its messages.

School’s Out for Summer!

7-23-14

Summer holiday from school in the UK is just a month long. Most of the schools have just let out.
This has a wonderful upside as I ride during the day. I have many families who ride in groups and want to know all about the specifics of One Million Acts of Kindness and the messages on my “ride.”
I love this so much!

Everything in Moderation Except Kindness

Rosemary from Richmond, just south of London, was so much fun to talk with. She shared many details about four generations of her family and how the lessons, over time, have remained the same. After our conversation, she told me she was going to add a couple of words to her favorite statement, “Everything in moderation.”

Teach Your Children Well

Today I was reminded of a song written by Graham Nash in the 70s, “Teach Your Children Well.” Watching Row talk to her son Daniel about the signs on the Kindness Bicycle, I realized she was teaching her child quite well.

Top Billing

The Riding 26,000 Miles for Children sign is about to get top billing. It is the “what it’s all about” sign on the Kindness Bicycle. People see the sign and it lets them know the importance of all the other signs. I have decided to add it as a two-sided sign above my head. I will have to work out the wind shear effect, but I’m hoping it works. What will take the place the sign currently occupies? A sign which reads, “Riding for the Safety Sake of Children.”

Slower Paced Saturdays

London is a very busy city, pretty much the same as many of the other cities throughout world, I’m sure. Most everyone can get caught up in getting to work on time and not pay attention to their surroundings, including the Kindness Bicycle.
I love the weekends when people have more time to “read the fine print” of life.
