Who’s up for donating a pint of blood? It takes about 30 minutes of filling out paperwork and the actual blood donation. In the short half hour you can make a difference in so many people’s lives.
You might just help to save a life and it is a huge act of kindness.

There are so many different ways that we try to connect with people to consider having kindness as a goal in their lives. From the Kindness Bus to the Kindness Bicycle and all of Bogart’s antics in between, we hope that by our words or actions people become inspired.
It’s always great fun at Bogart’s book signings, people love getting “framed.”

Half a World Away

Saturday, February 18th, 2017

2-16

The 8th annual One Million Acts of Kindness Week begins on the second Monday in February and continues for the week. During this week, groups of people are encouraged to band together and do some sort of community event. Please consider taking part this year.
Check out what Scott Neeson from the Cambodia Children’s Fund has been doing for the past 12 years. Creating learning facilities and housing from a garbage dump.
Most anytime you can do kind acts right in your neighborhood or you can do something in a very big way a half world away.
Acts of kindness no matter the size are important to all and you never realize the true impact they can have on an individual or a group of individuals.

Thank a Veteran

2-15

No matter where I travel or what city I am in, I always try to take note as to the veterans in the immediate vicinity. Oftentimes I will seek them out at VA hospitals, veteran organizations, or veteran nursing homes. Thank you veterans for their service to our country is a much needed act of kindness for them.
