In the Line of Duty

Saturday, February 17th, 2018

2-17

Took an early morning, two hour drive to Westerville, Ohio with my grand nephew, Mason, to the funerals of Officer Morelli and Officer Joering of the Westerville Police Department. It was a nice way to honor and pay our respect to these family men who gave their lives in the line of duty.

2-16

Taking a break from the rain late this morning, I visited with Rudy who was a member of the Landing Craft Infantry in the Pacific during WWII. At 93 years old and a lifelong Clevelander, he shared wonderful stories of his life and loved learning that One Million Acts of Kindness was founded in his hometown. Thank you for your service Rudy.
