Kindness Across the Generations

Wednesday, February 12th, 2014

I love when younger adults reach out a helping hand to seniors. It is a beautiful, pure human action of love. One Million Acts of Kindness Week has inspired the following.
Project Description:
Ammon Foothills Young Single Adult Ward went to Fairwinds Assisted Living in Idaho Falls and sang to the residents and made Valentine’s Day cards with them. We also spent time chatting with them and getting to know them.

Kindness Begins With You

2-11-14

Today is the start of the fifth annual One Million Acts of Kindness Week. This year the dates are February 10th through the 16th. During this week we encourage you to perform a community effort that needs to be done. It can be as easy as helping a neighbor with chores or as big as your imagination will carry you. All acts, big or small, will have a huge impact in someone’s life.

The Kindness of Friends

2-1-14

I must have made a thousand friends since acquiring The Kindness Bus exactly five years ago, people of all ages, from all walks of life, throughout the world. They all have one thing in common, they have a passion for wanting a kinder world for everyone. One of my favorite persons is Sister Claire from Vero Beach. I’m sure she has exceeded her One Million Acts of Kindness in her life.
