Have Fun Being Kind

Saturday, March 31st, 2018

3-31

How many acts of kindness do you think you can do in one day?
Four weeks from tomorrow is one of my favorite days of the year. One Million Acts of Kindness Day!! This event always takes place on April 27th. This incredible event challenges you to do as many acts of kindness as you possibly can during the course of the day. Have fun being kind on this day.

Things Are Catching On

Friday, March 30th, 2018

3-30

Brycen still recalls our kindness program from three years ago when he was in fifth grade. What a cool kid he is. He was voted the kindest student in his grade at his middle school this year. He also told me that the president of his class started a kindness initiative. Things are catching on.

Seven years ago I visited dozens of Children’s Advocacy Centers across the nation on my cross-country ride from New York to California. This trip to the Children’s Advocacy Center in Naples was quite a bit shorter, a mere five miles.

Thank you to Caroline who came over to heap praise on the Ring Our Country with Kindness tour. She has two special needs children and loved the awareness we are raising across the United States. Being the loving mother she is, she knows she needs to stand by them every step of the way.

Dozens of special needs sailors competed in a regatta at Sugden Park in Naples, Florida this past Saturday. Special Needs Volunteers

Sunday, March 25th, 2018

3-25

Thank you to this great looking group of volunteers of Habitat for Humanity in Collier County for letting me share some stories with them. Their special needs do not stop them from being volunteers. They are an example of what, compassion for others, is to all of us. Thank you Mandy, Christopher, Ernest and Miss Rita (who took this picture)
