Yellow Springs High School

Thursday, April 24th, 2014
One of two schools in Yellow Springs, Ohio that has taken the One Million Acts of Kindness challenge for the year is Yellow Springs High School. I spent the day on this campus, giving in classroom presentations and presentations outside by the Blue Bird of Kindness. What a great connection and what a great group of students.
A wonderful article written by Sarah Hawley about One Million Acts of Kindness was in the Athens Messenger. Please take the time to read it.

Chinese People Love Kindness

Tuesday, April 22nd, 2014

Four years ago, a Chinese student who was in this country for a week wrote a wonderful quote on the Kindness Bus: “Kindness will make this world a wonderful place.”
Qiping Lu and Yutai Ma from China stopped by to talk with me about the meaning of One Million Acts of Kindness. I thought it was fitting for Qiping to write the same quote on the Blue Bird of Kindness.

Easter Dinner

Sunday, April 20th, 2014

In a very short while, the Kindness Bus will finally be shipped from Petaluma, California to Blacksburg, Virginia. Professor Bryan Katz will use it on the Virginia Tech campus and surrounding Blacksburg area for years to come. I was able to spend time with Bryan, his wife Katie and their family and have Easter dinner in their home.
I knob that the Kindness Bus is going to be put to good use.

An Abundance of Kindness

Sunday, April 13th, 2014

One Million Acts Of Kindness Day is always on April 27th. Challenge yourself to do as many kind acts as possible on this day.
This 4th annual event, two weeks from today, was founded in Whitney Point, New York. This event has all the makings of growing into a nationwide event, one town at a time.
Please, if you have a way of getting a proclamation to make this happen in your town, let me know. Your town and this country will be a better place because of it.

Abusing drugs and alcohol cloud the perfection of the miracle of who you are. Come out of the darkness and share your miracle with the world…starting today!
These words will be written on Blue Bird to help those suffering from addictions.
The group pictured today, work the land in Old Fort, North Carolina to help find comfort and ultimately realizing the beauty of God’s world.
